How Raito works, all of it.

How Raito picks, buys and credits, and where every cent of the tax goes.

01

What Raito is

Every 15 minutes Raito's picker chooses one tokenized stock on Robinhood Chain. The coin's trading tax buys it, and holders are credited their share, with a note that says why.

Raito is two contracts and one picker. The RaitoDesk launched the coin, collects its fee and buys stock. The RaitoLedger holds what was bought until it is sent or claimed. The picker is off chain and holds no key: every round it suggests one ticker and one note, and the contract decides whether that suggestion is allowed.

  • A picker that spends the tax on one stock a round
  • A public record of every pick, note and receipt
  • Credit sized by the bag held through the round
  • One contract that launched the coin and holds the fee

Nothing in Raito is investment advice. A note explains why a stock was picked for a round; it is never a call to trade.

02

One round, minute by minute

96 rounds a day, the same steps every time. The picker suggests; the contract decides what is allowed.

:00 The round opens
The ledger starts tracking each wallet's lowest $RAITO balance for this round. The pot holds the tax collected since the last buy, plus anything carried.
:14 The picker answers
It reads the shelf, pool depth, prices, its own last picks and public market headlines, then returns one ticker and a note of up to 200 characters.
:14 The rules check it
On the shelf? Pool deep enough? Under the diversity cap? Plain wording? A failed check turns the round into a SPY round, and the note says so.
:15 The Desk buys
The keeper submits the buy. The contract checks the shelf, the approved route and the slippage cap before a single wei moves.
:15 Holders are credited
The stock lands in the RaitoLedger. Credits come from the round's lowest balances, and the credits root goes on chain with the receipt.

From a trade to a holder's wallet

  • A trader buys or sells $RAITO and pays 4%
  • 3.70% of the trade reaches the RaitoDesk
  • The tax part, 3.00%, joins the pick pot
  • Every 15 minutes the pot becomes one stock
  • The stock lands in the RaitoLedger
  • Each holder is credited by the bag held through the round
  • A credit worth $1.00 or more is sent to the wallet

03

Picker and its rules

Each round the picker gets the shelf, each pool's depth and price, price moves over one hour, one day and one week, its own recent picks and public market headlines from the last day. It answers with one ticker and one note.

Shelf only
v1 shelf: SPY · QQQ · NVDA · TSLA · AAPL · MSFT · GOOGL · AMZN
Deep pools only
A stock stays on the shelf while its deepest pool holds $500,000 or more.
Diversity cap
One stock may take at most 24 rounds a day, a quarter of the day, and never three rounds in a row.
Pool cap
A round never spends more than 0.5% of the thinnest pool on its route; any excess carries.
Slippage cap
A buy never accepts less than 99% of what the pools' 10-minute average prices give, after pool fees, and the keeper holds it within 1% of the live quote too.
Plain notes
A note explains a pick in plain words: no price targets, no calls to trade, no promises.
Fallback
If the picker fails, times out or breaks a rule, the round buys SPY and the note says so.

A rejected answer is never retried into a different pick: the round buys SPY and the note says why. The picker's prompt and output are hashed into the receipt.

04

Small pots, big pots

Nobody yet
A round nobody held through, like the first one after launch, does not buy: its pot carries to the next round.
Small
A pot under $5 does not buy. The round still picks and writes its note; the pot carries.
Big
A pot over 0.5% of the pool's depth buys up to the cap; the rest carries to the next round.
Either way
The round's receipt shows what was spent and what was carried, to the wei.

05

Closed market and the Opening Bell

Tokenized stocks trade on chain around the clock, but the markets behind them close at night, on weekends and on holidays. Raito does not buy on prices nobody can check.

  • Closed-market rounds still pick and still write a note, but they do not buy.
  • The tape shows the carried pot growing all weekend: the wait is visible, not hidden.
  • Night hours between open days carry the same way, so prices are always checkable when a buy lands.

The Opening Bell

Monday's first open round spends everything the weekend carried. If one buy would pass the pool cap, it splits the pot across its own pick and the next two rounds' picks. Holders through that round share the weekend.

06

How a holder's credit is sized

Credit follows the lowest balance a wallet held during the round. A wallet that buys a second before the buy and sells right after is credited nothing.

credit = the round's stock
× your lowest balance during the round
÷ the sum of all eligible lowest balances
Eligible
At least 100,000 $RAITO held through the whole round.
Excluded
The curve, the pool, the Desk, the Ledger and the team's disclosed wallets.
Per stock
A holder can be credited small amounts of several stocks in one day.

Splitting one bag across many wallets changes nothing: the credit is pro rata either way.

07

Sends, claims and dust

Send
Once a holder's credit of one stock is worth $1.00 or more, it goes out in that round's batch.
Claim
Any credit, any size, any time, from the app, against the round's credits root.
Dust
Credit under $0.10 left unclaimed for 90 days is sold; the ETH buys back and burns $RAITO.

Send fees are paid by the crew account. Claiming costs the holder only the network fee. Dust is credit under $0.10 that sits unclaimed for 90 days; it is sold and the ETH buys back and burns $RAITO.

08

Tiers

Tiers open doors. They never change the size of a credit: the credit is always pro rata to the bag held through the round, the same rule for every wallet.

Holder · 100,000 $RAITO
Credited every round, by the bag held · Sends over $1.00, claims any time · Shelf page, streak counter, Pick Cards
Analyst · 1,000,000 $RAITO
Everything a Holder gets · A vote in the weekly Wildcard round · The picker's longer note for each round
Desk · 5,000,000 $RAITO
Everything an Analyst gets · Propose one stock a week for the shelf · Name shown on the Wildcard round's card
  • The lowest balance during the round sets the credit, so a wallet that sells mid-round is credited on what it kept.
  • Streaks, rounds held in a row, show on the shelf page and on Pick Cards. They unlock badges, not bigger credits.
  • The Opening Bell spends a weekend's pot at once; holders through Monday's first open round share it.

09

Where every cent of the fee goes

A contract launched the coin and collects its fee. The split is fixed in its constructor: there is no setter, so nobody can move the stock share to the team later.

Pick pot: the whole tax, buys stock3%
Crew account: the base-fee share0.7%
Launchpad: its share of the base fee0.3%
Trader pays per side
4.0%
Reaches the RaitoDesk
3.70%
Of which buys stock
3.00% (81.1% of what the Desk collects)
Of which runs the crew
0.70% (18.9%)

The split is set in the RaitoDesk constructor. There is no function that changes it, and no function that sends the pick pot anywhere but a stock buy.

10

Crew account

Team payroll60%
Model time, data, push fees15%
Growth: cards, report, community15%
Reserve: reviews, incidents10%

Published every week next to the pick report: what came in, what went out, the balance.

  • Model time: about $4.80 a day for 96 rounds
  • One swap fee per buying round
  • One root fee per round
  • One send batch per round, only for credits over $1.00

11

Three volumes, modelled

$25,000 a day
$750 of stock · $7.81 a round · crew $175 · $1.25 per 1M $RAITO held
$100,000 a day
$3,000 of stock · $31.25 a round · crew $700 · $5.00 per 1M $RAITO held
$500,000 a day
$15,000 of stock · $156.25 a round · crew $3,500 · $25.00 per 1M $RAITO held

Per 1M held assumes 60% of supply sits in credited wallets; the rest is in the pool, the curve and the contracts. A model, not a promise: volume can be zero, and then so is every figure. A pot under $5 carries to the next round.

What $RAITO does not do

  • It gives no claim on the stocks bought: each round's credit follows the published rules.
  • It carries no vote over the Desk's money: the split is fixed in the contract.
  • It promises nothing about price, volume or the size of any credit.

15

Tape, notes and receipts

Every round prints a line on a public tape: the time, the ticker, the note, the pot and the receipt. The tape is the show; people come back to read what the picker did while they slept.

A note may say

  • The plain reason for this pick
  • What changed since the last round
  • Why this pool, not another
  • What it skipped, and why

A note never says

  • A price target
  • Buy, sell or any call to trade
  • A promise about anything
  • A word about anyone's money

Every receipt carries

  • The pick and the note's hash
  • ETH in and stock out
  • What carried to the next round
  • The credits root for the round

Pick Cards

Every round makes a card per holder: the stock, the note, the holder's share, the streak and the receipt link. One tap to share it.

The Wildcard round

Once a week one round is chosen by holders instead of the picker. Analysts vote from the shelf; the winning ticker is bought in a named round. The picker writes its note anyway: what it would have picked, and why.

16

Weekly record

Good weeks and bad weeks, published the same way, every number linked to its receipts.

  • Daily volume and the pot it makes
  • Rounds bought against rounds carried
  • Eligible holders per round and their median bag
  • Streak lengths across holders
  • Sends, claims and dust swept
  • Fallback rounds: the picker's failure rate
  • Pick Cards shared per day

What we ignore

  • The price of $RAITO: never a target here
  • A single round's result: one pick is noise
  • Follower counts

18

Risks

  • Volume can fall to zero, and then so do the rounds' buys.
  • The picker can be wrong: holders receive the stock it picked, falling or not.
  • Tokenized stocks can be paused or restricted by their issuer.
  • Stock tokens trade on chain while their markets are closed; the carry rule limits, but does not remove, that drift.
  • The launchpad's owner can reroute a coin's fee recipient after a 3-day timelock: a launchpad-level power.
  • Rules in many places treat stock-backed rewards strictly; this is not available everywhere.

Credits start at 100,000 $RAITO held through a whole round, are sent once a stock passes $1.00, and can always be claimed. One round never buys more than 0.5% of a pool's depth.

Raito is a community project. It is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, any stock token issuer, any brokerage, the launchpad, or any model provider. Nothing here is investment advice, and the picker's notes are not recommendations. $RAITO credits holders with stock tokens bought by the trading tax under the published rules; the amount depends on trading volume and can be zero. Tokenized stocks can lose value, can be paused or restricted by their issuer, and trade on chain while their markets are closed. $RAITO can lose all of its value. Every number marked assumed or model can change before launch; the receipts on chain are the only record of what actually happened.
